This summer we are offering several exciting classes and camps!

- Piano Ensemble Camp

Blast Off! Piano Class for complete beginners
This class introduces students to the first two steps of playing the piano: learning how to read rhythms, and learning to identify and play the keys on the piano. In addition students will be introduced to proper technique and the art of playing together in an ensemble. Every class incorporates new songs and fun games. This class runs Monday through Friday and will conclude on the last day with a recital presenting all the exciting music we learned!
Location: Pier School, 259 Old Pioneer Rd., Fond du Lac
Dates & Times:
Students entering: 1st-2nd grade (June 22-26, 12:45 to 1:45 pm)
Students entering: 3rd-4th grade (July 27-31, 12:45 to 1:45 pm)
Students entering: 5th-6th grade (July 27-31, 1:45 to 2:45 pm)
Tuition: $44 (includes music book)
Minimum/maximum: 6/10

Piano Ensemble Camp
This super cool camp is for students with 1 to 2 years of piano lessons who can read music on the grand staff. Develop your rhythm and ensemble-playing skills by playing tons of music games and participating in three different ensembles: a multi-piano ensemble, a body percussion ensemble, and our kitchen jam band. Bring a pot or lid from home for drumming.

Jazz Kids
A week-long (M-F) piano class for students entering 8th-11th grades. This class explores the art of improvisation and composition in a variety of styles. The class is based on the curriculum Jazz Kids. Learn how to read chord charts and lead sheets, and expand your knowledge of chords, scales, and listening skills. Prerequisite: completion of method book level 2 or higher.
Location: 20 East Arndt St. (Formerly St. Patrick's Church), Fond du Lac
Ages: Students entering 8th through 11th grades
Tuition: $59
Materials Fee: Includes Book & CD ($16.00)
